What is OUTspoken Europe?
OUTspoken Europe is an international Erasmus+ youth exchange coordinated by AKS, bringing together young people aged 14–17 from Lithuania, Czechia, Hungary and Slovenia. From 18 to 25 August 2026, 40 young people and 8 group leaders will meet in Antalieptė, Lithuania.
What is the project about?
At the centre of the project is an important question: how do we create spaces where young people feel safe to be themselves, speak, make mistakes, express their views and accept others?
Participants will explore identity, inclusion, language, peer support and allyship, while English becomes a real means of communication between young people from four different countries rather than a school subject.
How does the youth exchange work?
There are no traditional lessons. The programme is based on non-formal education through group challenges, discussions, creative activities, reflection, nature-based experiences and content created by the participants themselves.
Each project day has its own focus, moving from building a safe group and exploring identity to language, nature, allyship and creating something together.
An international experience
A central part of OUTspoken Europe is experiencing an international environment not as tourists, but as members of one temporary community.
Participants will live, learn, solve challenges and spend time together with peers from other European countries, discovering how to communicate across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Erasmus+ opportunities for different young people
The project aims to make international mobility accessible to young people with different life experiences. Particular attention is given to participants who may face social, economic, geographical or other barriers to taking part in international opportunities.

OUTspoken Europe is organised by Anglų kalbos studija together with partner organisations from Czechia, Hungary and Slovenia.
